This is the branch of manufacture and trade based on freight, transportation, communications, and transportation including railroads, trucking and public transportation, transit system, highways, roads and bridges.

Communication includes radio and television, but not newspaper and magazines.

This is measured using sea, air, road transport, supporting and auxiliary transport activities, activities of travel agencies, post and telecommunications.
