Crime and Justice

The nature and extent of crime and the administration of criminal and civil justice in Montserrat.

These statistics come within the scope of the following five objectives of the justice system:

• public order, safety, and national security through prevention and intervention;
• offender accountability, reintegration, and rehabilitation;
• public trust, confidence, and respect for the justice system;
• social equality and access to the justice system for all citizens; and,
• serving victims’ needs.
